Hi Everyone
We just uploaded a new video of my latest painting, The Sutherland Steam Mill. This one is the forth and final painting in a series of historical buildings from around the north shore area of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia.
I decided to start filming some of my paintings last year to share with you the process from the basic sketch through all the layers to the final finished piece. You'll notice how it goes through some really ugly stages before it looks like anything we'd recognize at all. This has been sped up on Filmora to 100 times faster than real time. It was actually filmed over several weeks using our new camera (Sony A6000) which only allows me to film for 30 minutes at a time and then has to be reset, quite a process! We're still quite new to this so it's pretty raw but I think it captures the process. Let me know in the comments what you think:)
