So what better time to be Just Cruisin’ than this around the picturesque village of Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. (SOLD) | ![]() Heading OutThe Sunrise Trail is a very beautiful area along the northern coast line of Nova Scotia. It is home to fishing communities all along the north shore, so this early morning sunrise is a familiar scene here in the village of Wallace, a well known local fisherman heads out for his morning catch. ![]() Sunset over the CapeThis is the last painting in a series of four Nova Scotia lighthouses. Cape Forchu light house; a beacon for Canada. Built in 1839 and standing tall above the sea, Cape Forchu lighthouse protects vessels approaching and entering the harbour, commonly known as the Yarmouth Light, it is now a huge tourist draw. If you haven't been there yet, its definitely one for the bucket list! Absolutely stunning! The original Louisbourg lighthouse was the first in Canada, built in 1734 to assist navigation to the Fortress of Louisbourg. Badly damaged and abandoned in 1758, a wooden one was built in 1842 and was later destroyed by fire. The lighthouse we see there today is the third one and was built in 1923 and decorated with neoclassical architectural features. 24" x 36" acrylic on Canvas (Sold) |

In the 1890’s steam power was the way of the future and Alexander Sutherland took this innovation and built his steam mill right next to the railroad. Today the mill is a museum. Sitting on a granite outcrop with its red beacon light marking the eastern entrance to St. Margaret's Bay is the iconic lighthouse at Peggy's Point Cove.
